Limited Slip or Martingale

Limited Slips or Martingales do not come with buckles, and need to be able to comfortably slip over your dog's head and ears. Every dog's tolerance for slipping a collar over their head is different. Choosing the right size range is important. All collars are adjustable so you can adjust as needed to make sure the fit is perfect!

Measuring

The easiest way to measure is to use a current collar: Watch my Instagram reel to learn how!
If you have a slip-over (non-buckle) collar already, test the fit currently to make sure it slips nicely over your dog's head. Lay it flat on your table and measure the inside from end to end, then take that measurement and double (example: If the collar is 7" from end to end, your dog's head size for a slip-over collar is about 14" size. You'll want to choose 11-16" size).

If you have a buckle collar, adjust the fit so it is as tight as it can be while still being able to slip over your dogs head and sit on their neck without being too tight. Unbuckle and lay flat. Measure from end to end, keeping in mind the buckle can add 1-2" extra inches (depending on the size).

Choosing a size

If your measurement is close to the max size range, opt to size up.
